Home Care Workers - Languages specific South West Full-time Job

Our South West Sydney Home Care team wants to hear from you if you speak a different language. We have a culturally diverse & dynamic team who support our clients to live their best lives, in their own home!

In particular, we are hoping to speak with you if you speak: Italian, Vietnamese, Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin, Italian, Japanese and Cantonese.

Our Home Care role in a snapshot:

1. Perm, Part-Time Hours to support your work/life balance - we maximise the availability you give us with shifts in your local communities, meaning you have guaranteed hour each week.
2. Relationship-based care- build up trust and rapport with regular client visits.
3. Ongoing support and leadership to see you succeed - At HammondCare, youre more than just a number!
4. Development tailored to you! - We will deliver tailored training to help you succeed. To do this, weve got scholarships available + CERT III courses + online modules and many more.
5. Travel to our clients - We cover client in Camden & Campbelltown up to Padstow, Fairfield and Liverpool.

Our Aged care workers reach those most vulnerable. Our relationship-based care therefore aims to provide:

• Assistance with personal care - including showering/toileting and pad changes
• Light housework - think of cleaning/tidying up you do in your own home. Be prepared to do this repeatedly
• Social support and community engagement - sometimes a simple chat and taking time to listen is the best care!
• Travel - be prepared for travel. We go to our clients homes to provide meaningful, purpose-driven care. from time -to-time well ask you to go a little bit further and pay you for that travel & mileage.

• No formal qualification or experience is necessary. Full training is provided via 10 days paid orientation + buddy shifts + ongoing learning options
• Fully vaccinated - three doses of Covid vaccination before you commence
• Valid provisional or above Drivers Licence + a reliable car with Comprehensive insurance/third party fire & property
