Respite Aged Care

You’ll work as part of a team of people and help with daily activities and assist with the Springvale Social Support Group. This group is a program run by our Respite Centre to promote community access, involvement, and socialising. But you’ll also be there to spend time with clients, share stories, connect and show kindness and empathy.

We have 2 days a week available currently, with the role gradually expanding to 5 days a week. It can be a great learning environment if you’re new to the industry as you’ll be exposed to experienced carers and nursing staff.

What we look for 

• a genuine passion for caring for our elders
• able to work independently and as part of a team
• Vietnamese Speaking
• Cert III or higher in Individual Support or related studies (i.e. nursing)
• respect for all, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation

To work in Respite Aged Care, you will need to supply an NDIS clearance, vaccinations and certification proof.  Don’t worry, we’ll only ask you for these when we need them.
