About you:
You'll be available to work 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday with additional Saturdays overtime. You'll need to have minimum of 2 years experience as Boner, Slicer or Slaughter Person (with beef or red meat) as well as:
- Well-developed knife handling and technical skills, including knife sharpening
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- History of excellent reliability, attendance and timekeeping at work
- Pride in delivering quality workmanship required to meet our customer specifications
- Commitment to always working safely in line with policies, procedures, PPE & work instructions
- Working positively as part of a team
- Being adaptive to change & new ways of working
- Being keen to learn and take on additional responsibility, processes & tasks
- Ability to work within a cold storage environment and with raw meat products
- Flexibility and willingness to work overtime when require
You’ll need to demonstrate your ability to safely fulfil the physical requirements of the role (through functional capacity assessment including drug and alcohol testing) and participate in a skills assessment.
