Lead Tester Full-time Job

You will Lead a Vietnamese offshore team (all Harvey Nash employees) and as the most Senior / Lead your role will be responsible for engaging the offshore team in Vietnam, co-ordinating & ensuring successful delivery of automation & manual testing with an approach to implementing further automation practices & maturity.

This is a broad role with huge flexibility, so the successful candidate must demonstrate independent judgment to perform complex analysis & make the job 'their own'.

• Business requirements and system specifications
• Lead and prioritize testing activities for projects involving onshore and offshore teams
• Execute test plans and scripts to facilitate complex testing activities
• Provide specific technical guidance on defects to product owners, business analyst and developers.

  
  
As the on-shore Senior Test Lead resource, you should be comfortable leading Test Planning and execution efforts for various projects (with the offshore team), be hands on (as much or as little as you like!) in order to identify issues, classification, resolution, and reporting. Be confident in leading and directing other testers / contractors on all the test coordination tasks on assigned efforts.  Coordinate efforts to communicate, resolve & retest all issues identified in the various projects.
  
  
Experience Required:

• 4-5+ years QA, user acceptance and systems/application testing experience on both Web and Mobile platforms (INCLUDNG Automation Testing) with specific knowledge in:
  • Identifying acceptance Test Cases/Criteria from Design Documentation
  • Creation of Test Scenarios/Test Cases
• Cypress (automation framework) ,Typescript , Javascript , Applitools, POM (Page Object Model), XPath, Azure CI pipeline 
• Strong knowledge of the QA Best Practices, Software Development Life Cycle, Methodology, Testing Standards, Test Processes, and Test Methods to validate and ensure the quality of software through testing.
• Experience of creating test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results
• Experience of front-end usability testing for web and mobile platforms
• Experience of working with various types of testing techniques and methodologies – in particular Agile & Waterfall
