Food Safety, Quality Assurance Officer Role

The incumbent would be responsible for ensuring Food Safety, Quality Assurance are covered effectively across all aspects of the business.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Support the QA Manager in managing the quality assurance programs for compliance to regulatory and customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance of the food safety and quality management and food safety system to the highest standard.
• Monitoring approved supplier programme for certification.
• Ensure all non–compliances are recorded, reported and actioned.
• Working collaboratively with suppliers for foods safety, specifications, NPD and documentation. 
• Working collaboratively with other areas of the business to achieve company KPI’s objectives.
• Support a strong food safety culture with full implementation of all business expectations.
• Contribute to the internal audit program.
• Contribute to Training (and induction) for the site to ensure sufficient knowledge across the business. 
• Coordinate and sign off on customer/consumer complaints.
• Contribute to getting raw materials approved from suppliers.
• Support the HACCP system compliance.
• Support the NPD process for new products.
• Support sensory evaluation of new products. 
• Support sustainability for ASC compliance

Candidates' ability to speak & write Vietnamese would be an added advantage.

In addition, the incumbent will support the QA Manager to ensure all 3PL Service providers and Suppliers adhere to Global Seafoods required standards.
